Sounds like an ending, but it is really a beginning!

McCrary and I have decided to let Greyhawk and the Starbucklers step out of the shadow and into their own website! It will still be weekly, but we’ll be updating on Tuesdays instead of Saturdays.

We apologize up front, but there will be an interruption during the transition. We knew there would have to be one and realized this current page would be a good one to leave off on, since it ends the current scene. If everything goes smoothly, the plan is to launch the Greyhawk and the Starbucklers website on Tuesday, September 21st.

We’ll be moving all of the Starbucklers pages over to the new site, so there will be a small period when they won’t be available to view.

We’re very excited about the move, though! It’s been really fun returning to these characters and it only makes sense that they have their own website.

One of the gags we’ve always intended, but have never used is that we put the opening to the ship’s hold right in front of the door to Flemm’s quarters. This means that Flemm frequently rushes out of his quarters, disappears into the hold and has to climb back up to the deck again. Maybe we’ll get to show that sometime.

With a few deletions and some color changes, you can totally turn Greyhawk into Lex Luthor.

Hey! It’s the return of Poco Boco’s chalk board! Longtime readers may remember that Poco Boco is a mute and can only communicate by writing on his chalkboard in Pig Latin. Poco first used it here. Poco no longer wears a chalk board around his neck, but he still keeps one with him aboard ship.

What is the Amulet of the Apes? Well, it’s too early to say, but I will say that our story picks up almost directly after The Wannabe Pirates and the Curse of Greyhawk Island and contains elements we introduced in The Wannabe Pirates and Henry Morgan’s Treasure. So, if it’s been awhile (or if you haven’t read those stories), you may want to do so now!
