Getting Around

Wow, we’re up to part 50 on Curse of Greyhawk Island and Part 80 on Greyhawk and the Starbucklers of the Caribbean!

If you haven’t been reading since these storylines started, I thought it might be helpful to point out some of the navigation tools in the new version of the site!

There are now sub-categories for the comics, named after the storyline of the comic. So, for instance, if you click on the dark red “Curse of Greyhawk Island” below the date in the strip’s title, you’ll be taken to an Archive for just that storyline. It’ll start with Part 1 and go through all of them.

Similarly, there’s a “Storylines” dropdown menu on the right sidebar, that will let you pick from any of the storylines!

Of course, you can still click on the “first” button and go all the way back to the very first comic.

Hope this helps you find your way around!

Addendum: I’ve adjusted the names so that the Wannabe Pirates stories now appear in order. Thanks to Arlene for bringing that to my attention!

  1. I just want to say that I just got through the entire archives yesterday and it’s great how this thing has evolved. I’m wondering how you’re going to cross over the two strips but I’m going to guess “humorously” and wait for it to happen.

Suggestion: in the “storylines” catalog you may want to put numbers on the storylines so it’s easy to figure out which one follows what. I took a lucky guess :-) (yeah I know if you start at the beginning it takes you through in order, but I went through the storylines dropdown list and when I got to the end of the first one I had to guess which one to click on next. Just a suggestion– not everyone graduated from the “Errol Flemm School of Lucking Into The Right Answer Despite All Other Concieveable Possibilities” like I did ;-)

Any plans to go back over the original TWP strips and redo them as CGI? Just wondering.

Hey Arlene! You just made my whole day!

Really glad you enjoyed reading our archives! It can safely be said that the crossover will be humorous. To use the example of the old DC Multiverse, The Wannabe Pirates live on Earth F and Greyhawk lives on Earth G. But there is a version of Greyhawk on Earth F, and that’s the one that will crossover. (Which suggests that there’s a version of Flemm on Earth G and a semi-realistic Flemm is truly a scary idea!) :-)

You are right about the storylines. I’ll work on fixing that. We definitely want them to be in the correct order.

I’m a graduate of the Errol Flemm School of Lucking Into the Right Answer Despite All Other Conceivable Possibilities! :-)

There are no current plans to go back and re-do the original TWP strips in CG. As it is now, I’m struggling just getting the new ones done each week! It’s not outside the realm of possibility, though. Maybe when it becomes super successful and I can hire assistants. ;-)

    Thanks again!
