This story introduces Flemm's arch-nemesis, Cutthroat Jacques. Originally named Cutthroat Mac, when

the characters were redesigned for the webcomic, McCrary gave Cutthroat a giant hat that reminded me

of Napoleon, so Mac became Jacques with a reediculous accent. A short story, Flemm is introduced to

what it takes to become a real pirate.
